Ripe fruit was initially fermented in French oak barriques . Four months lees contact and partial malolactic fermentation has given softness and depth to the well balanced structure. A further eight and a half months barrel maturation has enhanced the stone fruit flavours with a gentle smokiness. Cellaring potential till 2021. Enjoy with poultry, pork or seafood.

2016 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc
An outstanding and powerful paragon from an extraordinary vintage. The juice was cold fermented and then matured for 2 months on it’s lees to enhance the depth and weight of the multi layered palate. The impressive texture is supported by an array of intense blackcurrant, gooseberry and lime flavours which interact with the supporting herbal components of capsicum. A well structured wine, well suited for crustaceans, kai moana and vegetarian dishes. Not for the faint hearted!

2014 Waikato Riesling
Perfectly ripened grapes were hand picked in the coolness of the morning .The majority of the juice (89%) was cold fermented, while the remainder was barrel fermented. Extended Lees contact and brief oak maturation added more complexity and balance to the elegant structure. Pineapple, Guava and lime flavours are dominant on the palate. It’s fine grained acidity leaves along lasting and impressive finish .Enjoy with fish dishes, vegetarian plates, mature cheese or on it’s own in good company. Cellar potential until 2021.

2015 Matawhero Gewurztraminer
This ripe and concentrated fruit from the famed Eagan Vineyard had extended skin contact after crushing. This has enhanced the highly scented and perfumed aromas. The tropical fruit flavours were enhanced by an extended cold fermentation which was stopped to retain some natural sweetness. Mango, lychee, ginger and rose petal flavours are supported by a full mid-palate and an impressive finish. It is an ideal companion for Thai cuisine, sweet and sour dishes, blue vein cheese and fresh fruit.

2015 Central Valley Gisborne Pinot Gris
The cold settled juice was fermented in a mixture of stainless steel and French oak barrels with its indigenous yeast Three month oak maturation enhanced the mouth feel and softness of the mid-palate. Pear, guava, cinnamon and peach are the predominant flavours, which are supported by a round and harmonious finish. Cellar potential up to seven years from vintage. Enjoy with salmon dishes, anti pasto platters and vegetarian meals.
